Imprinted concrete
Our biggest specialism and the finish we get asked for most. It is laid as one continuous slab, coloured and imprinted while the concrete is still wet, then sealed. You get the look of block paving or stone without the joints for weeds to find.
Block paving
The traditional choice and still the most forgiving. Individual blocks can be lifted and relaid if you ever need to get at what is underneath, and a soldier course or a contrasting border lets you pick out the shape of the drive.
Tarmac
The most cost-effective way to cover a large area properly. Laid hot over a compacted stone base, it goes down quickly and stands up to heavy use, which suits the long driveways and farm accesses we are called out to across the Fens.
Resin bound
A smooth, seamless surface that water drains straight through, so it counts as permeable and there are no puddles to step around. Laid over a solid base and finished in the aggregate blend you pick.
Patios and paving
Porcelain for a flat, modern finish that holds its colour and washes clean, or Indian sandstone for something warmer with more variation across the slabs. Both go down on a full mortar bed with the falls set so water runs away from the house, not towards it.
Groundworks
The work nobody photographs once the job is done, and the part that decides whether the surface above it lasts. Excavation, foundations, drainage and concrete bases, done to the same standard as the finish that goes on top.
